About Hotel Reservation
TEST Hotelreservation & Events is a leading provider of hotel reservation services in Europe. They offer premium room deals at all major trade fair and congress locations, along with expert consulting and services for your visit.
What was the goal?
The full automation of Google text ads across Europe for hotel rooms available near trade fairs on a daily basis, triggered by keywords in the respective local languages. The content had to adhere to Google’s best practices, maintain correct spelling, and incorporate marketing psychology elements to ensure peak performance.
Information regarding the location and duration of all trade fairs, promotional lead times, daily hotel availability, and internal prioritization had to be consolidated from various databases and transformed into high-performing Google text ads.
What was the challenge?
The internal Google program “Google Hotels” could not be used because this program only works for search terms following the pattern “hotel location”. However, for maximum success, the client required the permutations of synonyms for “hotel trade fair name”.

From Burgbernheim to Europe: The Shopmonauten support qpool24 in internationalizing their shop – Google Ads for 17 new markets
About qpool24
At qpool24, professional tradespeople and ambitious DIY enthusiasts find numerous products for domestic, heating, and sanitary technology. The range offers a wide selection of multilayer composite pipes, PE pipes, flexible hoses, brass fittings, galvanized fittings, pipe valves, pipe insulation, expansion tanks, radiators, suitable tools, and much more.
Was war das Ziel?
The client wanted to "go international" as quickly as possible. While the shop and advertising had previously been limited to Germany and Switzerland, 17 additional European markets were to be added. From Portugal to Sweden, from the Netherlands to Poland. qpool24 took over the creation of the country-specific shop pages – the task of the Shopmonauten was to set up Google Ads for the new countries.
What was the challenge?
On the technical side, an optimized shopping feed had to be provided for each country, and various tracking and analysis services had to be deployed at scale for 17 online shops. Additionally, the best Google Ads setup had to be determined for a variety of languages, target regions, and currencies.
TheShopmonauten® solution:
qpool24 quickly succeeded in creating feeds for the countries. We integrated these into the client's existing Merchant Center and decided against using new Merchant Center accounts. The reason: This allowed us to assign each country feed to the new Google Ads accounts with a single click. Custom labels were used for this – one for each country. The highlight: When creating a Performance Max campaign, the respective country could now simply be selected via a dropdown menu.
Regarding the campaign set-up: We decided on one account per country. These accounts were linked under a new qpool24 manager account. The overview of performance played the most important role in this choice. The currency issue was bypassed by operating all accounts in EUR (as only one currency per account is allowed). This is possible even though some countries do not use the EUR as their own currency (e.g., Sweden, Denmark).
Finally, a word on the ad copy. Here, we worked with international Google Ads experts who were familiar with the linguistic and cultural nuances of the new countries. We found these experts through our global network of Google Ads specialists.
All in all, a great project that bore fruit in the form of new revenue after a short time. Go European, qpool24!

What was the goal?
The main goal of Naturzeit was to optimally promote their extensive product range of 16,000 products—consisting of a wide range of brands, outdoor products, and various versions in terms of size, color, and form—via Google Shopping and Google Text Ads.
What was the challenge?
The challenge was to individually optimize every single product in the assortment for display on Google Shopping and to generate powerful text modules for the text ads for each product. In addition, relevant search terms and precise keywords had to be identified for the 16,000 products.

We developed a highly automated solution. Using advanced data transformation, the data feed for Google Shopping could be fully optimized, and text modules and keywords were efficiently generated. All available and maintained fields from the ERP system were used to ensure that every product detail was presented correctly and attractively. The creation of the text ads was fully automated and reacted daily to changes in the product range.
The automated solution was supplemented with individual solutions and optimizations for each product category. Thus, tailor-made CTAs were developed for each product category to increase the effectiveness of the ads. The combination of comprehensive automation and customized optimization made it possible to position Naturzeit's 16,000 products efficiently and effectively on Google Shopping and in Google Text Ads.
